Honestly, i have had the power to boot people offline but, i never have. I just don't like how it feels. I've been booted off for several hours i know how it feels.

I actually haven't heard that saying since back in MW2 and a little in MW3. Even if they do "boot" you offline all you have to do is Disconnect and Reconnect your modem to get a new IP, really not that hard to to

Then you must not play league play. People boot offline almost every other game. Thats how most get master division.

Can't do this to VPN users

Also, for the longest time of my XBL days, I had a strict connection and would beg people to hit me offline. Not once did anyone ever manage to find my IP or hit me offline while I had my strict connection xD

I could understand how this could get annoying or whatever though!

RiddIer wrote MOMMY LOOK AT ME! I CAN BOOT PEOPLE OFF OF A VIDEO GAME!

Is this their thought process? I have switched from CoD to LoL. Mainly because of this reason.

Exactly what I did. I will never regret it.

OT: The majority of the kids on BO2 say they can hit off to sound like a hard a*s, but in reality, if you know how to use a computer you can hit people off.

I like many others have the ability to boot people offline yet i only choose to do so if they threaten to do it to me or hit one of my friends off.

Like earlier today this guy joined the party and picked on my 13 year old friend now I'm 16 with a pretty deep English voice so when i speak i get the attention i told this guy straight i don't boot in defense and if he takes me or any of my friends offline then i will retaliate. So he booted my friend offline so i took him off for ten minutes he came back on and apologized.

Considering MS don't want to do anything about it it's down to the users to defend themselves and that's exactly what i do.

This is very common thing people do. Which can be very annoying.
If you don't want to get booted just get a VPN (Virtual Private Network) this hides your IP address and protects you from DDosS attacks. There you go, you don't have to worry about getting booted offline.

What a lovely rant... I cant start to think of how many people ive have run into that have threatened to "boot" me offline. I tend not to worry because i cant recover from one in minutes but i tend to laught at the ones who brag on how they can "boot: offline and how they they they are above everyone and everything
