Guys, thanks for the reply's but neither of you have helped me out so far. I'm not asking for you to build me a PC, or give me a list of parts because I already have that. I need help deciding between the two GPU sku's. I want the better of the two, the one with better cooling, lower noise levels, better performance and so on.

You may already have a list of parts, but we are suggesting a build better than the list of parts that you provided.

I have set aside $3,000 for a separate Extreme Gaming PC. My editing PC that I have can play most games maxed out like BF4, Watch Dogs, and so on but it has a GPU that can't handle full 4K gaming so I am building a separate PC for just that, extreme gaming.

My list of parts were carefully picked for my needs. I have taken the time to pick out each part, it will do exactly what I want it to do and what I am expecting it to do.

Yes, but for 4K gaming, I wouldn't use a 290X. I would use a 295 X2. You can easily afford it so why use a mediocre GPU when you can get the best of the best.

MSI has really good cooling systems, not sure about the lightning though, I have the twin frozr 280x and it keeps cool and quiet for the most part, plus it looks really good. I'm sure they have a comparison on youtube of both the cards together, I would look at that first

The lighting has the same cooler design but better overclocking features and power delivery.
