Why did you reply to me? I said nothing about what happens after we die. According to his belief in his God what he said was illogical. Even if God exists and he is right, what he said was still illogical. It's like me telling you that I have an invisible giant, and if you don't believe me he will stand on you, and then you saying you believe me just to be safe. If I was an all knowing being I'd have the giant stand on you anyway because you don't truly believe me.

I don't know what happens after we die, and quite frankly, I don't care. Living on Earth for a short amount of time would be worth whatever punishment, non-existence, or paradise comes after.

when we die you either get buried cremated or whatever. that's about it

I also believe in reincarnation. But I suppose we will all find out for sure when we die. I don't view death as a bad thing necessarily. It is a certainty that comes to us all.

I personally think you come back as better man!

No I'm not believing just to be safe. It's my religion and it's actually what I believe in. I was just saying like I'd rather put my faith into something that may not be real.

Maybe those people (including myself) don't believe in a metaphysical soul? He did say US.

He obviously didn't mean what happens to your body when you die.
If you think nothing happens then just say 'nothing' or some other metaphysical 'deep' way of saying nothingness.
People always have to be smart and say things like 'cremated' or 'eaten by worms.'
