Everyone tells me that Elgato is the best so I would go with Elgato but I have been told that this one is also very good [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

[EDIT] The Elgato has a better rating percentage so I would pick the Elgato if I were you

HD PVR is by far the better recording device.

I started with a PVR but quickly moved to Elgato. Less wires and better software is what I noticed straight away.

Elgato is also geared towards gamers unlike the original PVR (I believe there is a gaming edition now though), this means the options built in are designed for gaming specifically.

The Elgato is winner hands down.

Yes the Avermedia HD Pro is better because its an internal cap card inputted in the PC, and with the elgato there is a bit of a delay.
