Does this mean I do not need to do anything with my Jr Programmer apart from get my original nand and CPU Key?

A preprogrammed means the coolrunner is preprogrammed with the correct timing files for your motherboard for example.

If you had a slim trinity you could have the seller of the coolrunner, program it with the trinity timing files.
