If i have 1x2gb and 1x4gb of ram. They both are the same make and are the same speed. Could i then run them in dual channel mode? Thank you to anyone who answers this question.

aslong as they're the same ram you should be good

Not in the normal sense. If your motherboard supports "Flex" mode, The single 2GB stick and 2GB of the 4GB stick will be used in dual channel mode and the remaining 2GB will be alone. You will notice a bandwidth reduction if your usage goes above 4GB.

If your board does not support Flex mode, they will run in single channel.

I dont have a intel supported board. I have a Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3 board
