i own 9 games for the one and none of them read every game/movie/cd i put in the one an disc error pops up I've tried restarting it/leaving it off for a period of time it makes like a grinding noise sometimes i take the disc out asap none of my discs have a scratch on them i don't know what I'm supposed to do i recently bought it offline and haven't had any problems until this past week someone please tell me they are having the same issue Microsoft has a big problem with disc trays.............

Unplug the Xbox turn it over on its back then hit the back above the disktray but not to hard
This worked for me and i found it on youtube so u can look it up

Did you ever move the Xbox while it was on or had a disc in the tray? I think Microsoft would fix it for you if you ship it and you didn't void the warranty yet. Grinding noise would mean something is probably hitting against each other in the disc tray itself so something's wrong in there.

my warranty is still up so I am filling out the service report right now thanks tom the hitting of the xbox is just a temporary fix I want the problem fixed not just temporary

Xbox one is shit, i havent turned mine in in legit 3 months. Good luck, service request would be the best option.

They're on your account you would just re-download them

As long as you bought them and you will keep the same account, they'll download onto your new Xbox including any DLCs. You won't have to buy anything again electronically. It'll just take time to re-download.
