How much rope should I get for a rope hanging from a tree to go into the water. I don't remember how high the tree was and I know it's always good to buy more but more rope = more money.
Any opinions?

Well we can't see the tree so we can't truly help you.
Heres an idea though, tie some string to a ball and then throw it over the branch. Mark where it hits the water, pull it off the branch, and then measure it
