Hey Everyone! im planning on upgrading my RIG when i start my new job soon, ill post my specs, why im upgrading and what im upgrading too. Any suggestions etc would be greatly appreciated.

My Current RIG
GPU: Geoforce 660 3gb
CPU: Intel I5 3570 3.40 GHz - 3.70GHz
PSU: 650w (Not sure on the make)
RAM: 8GB (4x2) Corsair Vengence
HDD: 1TB SEGATE (not sure)
OS: Windows 7

Im planning on upgrading this because i can play most games on ultra at 50-60 fps which is cool but im planning on dominating heavily modded games, recording gameplay and hopefully making youtube videos and streaming on twitch when i get Fiber Optic Installed at my home.

Intel Core i7-3770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
GPU: Geoforce 780 3gb Superclocked
CPU: Intel Core i7-3770K 3.5GHz
PSU: "NZXT HALE 90 1000W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply" ( need some help on this? )
RAM: 16GB (4x4) Corsair Vengence
SSD: 1TB SEGATE (need some good suggestions for this eg recording)

Let me know if im making a bad choice or if there any errors i could be making im still fairly new to this.

Thanks

You don't need a 1000 watt psu, you could run it off a 450 watt easily.

Iv learned that systems run at there best efficiency when they only use 40/50% of the full power of the PSU

Well an ivy bridge 3770k has a max tdp of 77w and a 780 has a max tdp of 250w so you are using 40%-60% of the power supply, and please remember these are the MAX watt's they would use.

Youd get more space if you spent that cash on a hdd you could get about 4-8 tb of storage on a hdd for that price compared to the 1tb on the ssd

But a HDD isnt very good for recording gameplay for example im only managing to squeeze on 15-25 fps on recording which is horrendous but it doesnt effect the gameplay itself. i need a SSD with good capability's. By all means if anyones knows a HDD which is perfect for recording at 60 fps please tell me.

I was planning on dropping down to a 800w PSU in honesty this build isnt set in stone yet. besides i need a new motherboard to support the I7
