The 750w power supply Is overkill also the 760 is underpowered for a 1k plus build there was no metion of a os needed or a optical drive. The matx route wouldve been cheaper and would've allowed for you to upgrade the parts to higher standards. Also lets say it was an unlocked cpu the aftermarket cooler would not keep the cpu cooled to adequate temps to allow for good overclocks.. besides all that the ram and the locked cpu the build looks alright...ish..

750w is not overkill for an unlocked cpu. 760 wasn't even the primary build it was if he didn't want the 280x. Both of those cards can run any game highest settings and get at least a stable 60-70fps. They will be fine for at least 2 years, then he can add another or get a new one. If you look at my previous post I had updated it. Also an optical drive so he doesn't have to deal with usb drivers, 15$ is nothing for all the hassle saved. The cooler is plenty for OCing, he should be able to get a stable 4ghz at LEAST on that cpu.
mATX wouldn't have been much cheaper and doesn't allow for much upgrade space.

Im not going to argue, but 750w is overkill for yoir builds. A optical drive is not needed since the internet has all the drivers a person would ever need. I dont lnow what you mean by primary build since to me it looked like they were labeld nividia and amd. Ive seen yoir updated post, I wouldve went with water cooling and not a massive cpu fan.. usb drivers? Like I said before we have the internet for a reason. The evo Is no where near enough for ocing if he got the cpu to 4ghz itd lock up due to overheating for sure.. the n200 can fit both of the cards you were showing and also can fit a 290 which is a massive upgrafe from a 760.

You do realize when you overclock your not even adding a whole extra volt.

My build was balanced, not a complete mess with a good gpu thrown in, if you want a good build you need balance.

In what world is a 760 and i5 better than a 290 and a i5 and in what world was my build unbalanced? Not tryung to be rude but you seem slightly under knowlaged to be saying stuff about how I had a unbalanced build when you had a locked i5 with a aftermarket cooler and a z97 board also had a overkill psu and 16gigs of ram in a gaming rig.. your using words that I doubt you understand, please dont get angry and start talking about something like bottlenecks
