Buy a desktop, they are a lot cheaper and can be upgraded, where as a laptop can't be upgraded.

That's not true. You can upgrade the ram and storage devices in most laptops and upgrade the gpu and cpu in a few higher end laptops.

I already have a desktop.
I'm asking about a laptop.

Okay I never read the comments and upgrading a laptop may be possible but it is very difficult to find parts that fit, are good and are a decent price and since the GPU and the CPU are sometimes attached to each other to save space, you usually need to replace both at the same time.

Okay for gaming laptops I would try an HP Envy 15z-j100 or a Dell Inpiron 15R SE

Unless you need to have the mobilty in a laptop, you should never use one for gaming, a 1,400 laptop costs about 800 in a desktop with much better cooling, performance, and upgrades in the future. Don't get a laptop. Please.

Once again, I already have a desktop with a Gigabyte Z97, i7 4790k, EVGA GTX 770 2GB, and a Corsair CX750.
But I think I've gathered enough suggestions from everyone, thanks guys.

Lol why does everyone have to try to force a desktop onto everyone. When I was looking for a laptop all I got was shit and told to get a desktop. I suggest going to bestbuys website and go to laptops then gaming series. There wont be much around your price range but hopefully you can find something. I would honestly save up some more and you should be able to get something with a lot of power.
