Negative comments? I try to help not make negative comments but you here are getting angry because I said need. Do you want to tell the op to get a i5 and 8 gigs even though he has money t9 get a i7 and 16gigs which will vastly improve his build for what he/she wants to do with it or would you rather say that he needs it as in if the op wants to get most out of there cash? You are here telling me that im rude and pathetic when your the one critisizing me for tell the op that they need a i7 and 16 gigs of ram?

I have seen you post a few negative or incorrect comments in this forum before. I'm not getting angry whatsoever. I don't know why you get that vibe but think what you will. I never said OP should get 8GB RAM and an i5 instead. I simply stated that an i7 and 16GB RAM is not "needed". If OP had a tighter budget, he'd be fine rendering with an i5 and 8GB RAM. I've already posted a build which would be beneficial for OP. 16GB RAM, i7 CPU as well as a better GPU. You stated at one point that OP should upgrade GPU and then Volk suggested a similar build with more recently released parts, as well as an upgraded GPU and you jumped to criticising his build without even looking at it properly. If you know so much, let's see your suggestion?

this is my suggestion if op doesnt need a os scrap the optical drive, change the i7 4590 to a i7 4590k and add a after market cooler so you can overclock [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
You just took Volk's build and swapped some of the parts he suggested with parts that I suggested. The GTX 770 and R9 290 perform almost the same, except the GTX 770 is a little cheaper, so better option atm unless OP has a specific need for AMD GPU. If OP needs an optical drive, then he need sone, he can't get one for free elsewhere. OS can be had for free so no need to pay the majority of the time. No such thing as a "4590", I'm assuming you mean "4790". The 4790 is $10 more expensive and only slighlty newer but if OP wants that, he can go with it. I'd suggest the 4770 to save a little money if needs be, but if he has an extra $10 to go with the 4790 instead, then go for it. CPU cooler would be beneficial which you haven't taken into consideration(other than mentioning it would be a good choice if OC'ing). Your build is $25 cheaper but has an SSD almost half the size of the one I suggested, a much cheaper case which isn't great(R4 is much better) but a slightly better CPU.

Acually I did this build from mind I didnt use any one elses ideas or opinions the 290 is a better card and still fits within budget so I went with it. I put a optical drive in there because I didnt know if he needed a os or not.
im on a phone so I accidentally swiped my finger on the wrong key.Like I said before I didnt know if I should leave enough in budget for a os I wad about to put a water cooler in the build but than thought if he needed a os or not. I also chose a smaller ssd for that reason. If you want me to pit together a build that I would use if no os was needed?

I don't quite understand why you're linking an optical drive with OS.

"the 290 is a better card"
Show some proof of this please.

Tyler0399YT wrote Downgrade to 8gb or ram, make sure they are two 4gb sticks not one 8 or four 2's. Also if you plan on upgrading your cards in the future, get an 850 watt power supply. And if I were you I would use an ASUS Sabertooth Motherboard instead. I am going off the specs of what I am building (ALMOST identical to yours)

Oh yea, and don't use corsair RAM. Use CRUCIAL BALLISTICS. Hope I helped!
why not use corsair ram, and why use Crucial Ballistics?

Il put my suggested build in. I call it the middle ground of all the other builds. Its supposed to work and not have any frills and whistles which would cost more and might not be beneficial to the OP

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

4790 - 4770k but refreshed. Take advantage of them extra threads when rendering.
No aftermarket cooler, not needed with the refresh. Lower temps and not unlocked.
MSI Gaming 5 - Ability to add another card for SLI in the future
16GB Corsair Ram - 16GB is recommended for rendering builds as it helps the rendering process.
Crucial 120GB SSD - Just for the OS
2TB HDD - Good for storing large video files if they have not been compressed yet
Asus 770 - A brilliant card. Will max most games out and the OP wanted
Puhblisher wrote run some games like Garrys mod and minecraft.

Fractal Design R4 - Just an amazing case
XFX 550 PSU - Good & reliable PSU. If the OP wanted to SLI in the future, he could change this to a 650w and that will be fine.
DVD Drive - Who knows when he will be using this but its good to have one if needed
Windows 7 - Maybe he might not want to get it for free. He has the budget to buy it

Side note: Does anyone know if the 4790 comes with a stock cooler? I know that some Intel CPU's dont
