Before I say anything I don't want people arguing over what is better but I want to know what is better. An Intel Core i7-4770K 3.5GHZ Quad-Core Processor vs AMD FX-8320 8-core Processor. I am building a gaming PC and I would like to know.

I prefer Intel, because I do a lot of rendering and I find that the Intel get's it done faster.
The AMD is just as good and is more then likely cheaper.

Like I said I prefer to got with Intel if you have the money if not go with AMD

The i7 without a shadow of a doubt. My friend had the AMD FX-8320 and though he brags it's better than what I have, he actually hates it and regrets purchasing it for some reason.

The i7 is twice the price and much faster. No surprises here. More threads != more performance.

Thanks guys! Me and my friend was planning on building a computer and I was just making sure he wasn't paying way less for better stats.
