(On an iPhone 5 7.1.1 Jailbreak) My phone is now stuck with this [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] notification on the screen and I can't do anything about it. Can't even turn it off, because it's in the way of the power off slider. Any others having this problem or have a fix? All I can do now is wait for it to die.

Try to hold the power and home button for around 15 seconds and then when it reboots delete the app as soon as. Or just wait for it to die

Won't work, my power button is broken, I have to use assistive touch for it and it won't reboot that way.

Unfortunately not, theirs a trick where if you place the top of the iPhone (where the lock button is) and press down it sometimes works (Rarely)
But apart from that no youll just have to wait till it dies bro

Yeah, kinda figured. Pretty **** stupid. Something similar on this jailbreak, it'll take a while for it to register that I hit the "x" on an app I'm trying to delete.

Oh I forgot the bit when you press the lock button down onto a kitchen counter top etc.

Which is why I get my phone fixed as soon as something is wrong with it, one thing can lead to another... then you're stuck
