R32 is now legal due to the "25 year rule" The r33 on the other hand is not but there are always back doors around it.

dezzym8 wroteCriticaI wrote why were they illegal? They're from Nissan, Skylines in fact. I'm not really sure about why they are illegal, but from what I heard was because of weight and crash testing.
+ who makes these cars?
I think they're illegal cause of what's under the good but it's not fair that the Bugatti veyron is legal

Nope not in the United States. If you have one they are forced to crush them unless they have the 25 year rule or the very very very few that passed which mostly rich and celebrities have them right now. Example Paul Walker R34 was worth around 1.5 million over here because it was one of the few allowed.

R32 is legal, people still register the R33 & R34 under "Replica" or "kit cars". If you are found driving a R33 & R34 it will be crushed. They're also thinking about taking the R32 and making it illegal although the 25 year rule is here, not 100% sure why.

They couldn't pass emissions. They're Nissan Skylines. I haven't been through the post yet so Idk if this has been answered. Oh well. I doubt they're legal. Only way it to have a shop do a conversion.
