That is a picture of your mobo. HP designed it to work only with apus
It has no ports to support a gpu from what i can see. and they designed it so only they a6-5200 with intergrated radeon hd 8400 graphics will work on this mobo.

-Warriors wrote i cannot find the PCU or the wattage it puts out. if anyone could find it for me that would be awesome. here is the model HP 500-a60
in the youtube video they had a pc in there that was $100 cheaper than mine and they were able to put a gtx 750 in it with out additional power so i am pretty sure i am good, but im not positive.
my brother runs a GTX 680 on a 500 watt power supply so i think you should be fine but don't quote me

well, i see where it says the processor is not available but what i dont understand is why a $350 desktop can practically plug and play with gtx 750 and i cant. is it just the processor that would disable the graphics card from working?

The mobo was designed with only 1 PCI Express Expansion slot, but its a half lenght mini slot and they dont make gpus for that, thats typically for wifi expanions and other things, all i know i dont think they make GPU for a Mini PCI Express

Upgrade your power supply to something like a 400-500w Corsair CX series power supply, then you should go get a 750Ti or similar. You could just install it and set it up with (commonly) one 6-pin PCI plugin for a sufficient amount of power.

EDIT: I didn't know that your motherboard may not have a full-length PCI-E slot. If that's the case, you can't upgrade your graphics card unless you're either willing to pay a lot more for a card that works with that slot and/or settling with a much older card that uses it.

You pc is basically a laptop, i found even more in depth files. Its a 65W external powersupply. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Edit* You can upgrade your ram, Maximum 16GB/ but that seems like its it.

So with all of this said would the best thing for me to do is just hold off on modifying everything on my current PC and just save up for a new one.
