i will be receiving my gaming laptop within the month. i played WoW demo on old laptop but it was too slow. i liked it a lot tho. my question is when i get my laptop would it still be reasonable to get WoW and play it. or is it too late in the games life cycle for me to get into it??

Due to the games nature its easy enough to get into it at any stage, especailly at the moment considering by the time you get fluent with a class or higher up in pandaria as by the time your starting to get a bit bored of it you should be seeing warlords of draenor slowly creeping in, as for speed of the game it all depends on your individual settings for the game and the system your playing on
I tend to have medium to high graphics, highest sound settings possible and run off a intel i7 intergrated graphics laptop with 16gb or ram and use my astros for the sound (5.1 surround <3) and it runs smoothly at around 43fps and only really encounter a major "lag spike" during one of the weekly world bosses everyone goes for as it is 40 people in a group and lots of effects on screen at once but it only drops to about 27fps at the worst of times which is easily playable

I'm honestly going to say as a player who has been in the game since release it's sadly coming to the end of its life. In the past 2-3 years they have lost nearly half of their subs and its still dropping.

ive only played for the past year and a half but think its not so much dead its just not kept ontop of the realms/servers too well, with how consoles are so easy to plug ad play for online aswell now what they really should of done as a preemptive is been connecting and merging realms months, if not years in advance to help compensate for slight losses in player count/subscriptions but i have noticed when ever a school holiday is due the numbers jump back up considerabley
