Does my xbox need to be connect via wired connection or can a wireless adapter work?

I have been told that I can't use wireless for RTM tool's and FTP



PC- Ethernet Cable
Xbox- Wireless Adapter

You can use wireless. Just as long as your computer and your xbox are connected to the same router.
But keep in mind Ethernet is usually faster.
