Does anyone else seem to think that the media is indoctrinating the population? 6 corporations control 90% of the media in the United States. As a gun owner I notice a bombardment of articles pertaining to gun control, all of which are incredibly bias, and ridiculously inaccurate, to the point it is laughable. All of them seem to push the same gun control agenda, and attempt to revive old stories to keep it going. Regardless of your position on the topic, you must notice this trend? This is a problem since the constant reporting on subjects purely for ratings causes people to get false ideals about a topic. Such as assault weapons being extremely problematic in the US, or that violent crime is rising.

Other agendas I see being pushed:
Gay Rights
Civil Rights
Feminism
Partisanship
Just to name a few.

This presents a problem because instead of allowing people to think freely and for themselves, the media pushes ideas upon the people constantly like some sort of propaganda. Mass media has even been warned by forensic psychologists that reporting shootings like they do is more likely to lead to more aspiring shooters, but the media disregards this and follows what seems to be an agenda. Mass media is helping raise a generation of 2nd hand thinkers, who don't research facts, or verify claims, but swallow the information given to them and take it as fact.
