The only way to get gems is to purchase then or clear obstacle. No one is going to "hack" you gems

If you want gems, there is actually a very simple method that literally takes 10 seconds.

First, press "Shop".

Then, navigate to the treasure section.

After that, select the amount of gems you would like.

Finally, enter your iTunes password.

DONE! Now simply repeat as many times as you want for UNLIMITED gems!

As of right now, clash of clans has no way to get free gems by hacking. It's possible for someone to hack it, but it would take a lot of time and effort that's really not worth it.

You can't hack gems online, you can do it offline but it's just for fun and anything you do won't stay the same way when you get back online.

Everything is stored server side; a little like EA with their Ultimate Team function. If you want any gems at all, support the developers and perhaps purchase them instead of being a freebie to get a gaming advantage over players who actually wish to play legit.
