Hey guys, i'm looking to buy a recording software for my xbox 360 and i have a couple questions.
So on the Website it says the el gato requires 2 Ghz of ram (I think) and currently i am using a 2013 Macbook air. On the specs for macbook air it says that it runs at 1.7 Ghz. But i also read that if the computer is up to date on downloads and its newer, it can still run the elgato.
My Question is, will the el gato work? I have another brand new computer (i dont know what brand it is) but i was wondering, if a Pc Computer (not a laptop) nowadays come standard with 2 Ghz plus. Because i need a failsafe incase i don't get it on the mac.

Thanks

Your MacBook should be able to run the Capture program just fine. It says it requires 4 GB's of RAM not Ghz.

Any 2013 MacBook Air should have at least 4 GB's of RAM. Just make sure you have downloaded the most recent updates and that you are running a version of OS X that is 10.7 or later.

Okay we'll have to see! But look at this.
Mac:

OS X 10.7, 10.8 or later
2.0 Ghz (or higher) Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, or 2.0 Ghz (or higher) multi-core i3, i5 or i7 CPU
4GB Total Installed RAM (or higher)
Built-in USB 2.0 port

Also i talked to a apple lady, she said she thinks it would most likely work. Because although the Mac Airs are a standards 1.3-1.7, it can power up to 2.7 Ghz.
