Compare the Yasuo skill requirement to other champions. He really isn't that hard to master.
Also, I would say that Fizz is one of the easier mid champs to play tbh with you.
OT: Preferred champions would be Lucian/Caitlyn; Thresh/Nami; Fiddlesticks/Yasuo.

And i would say that if you want to try someone mid that is pretty fun, i would say Twisted Fate. He may not be one of the best Mid Laners at the moment, but he is a great pusher and i think fits into most team comps.

Mid: Mordekaiser(imo), Kayle, Ziggs
Support: Braum(until he gets nerfed), Lulu, Leona
