Centurial wrote Thanks for all of the answers, I am going to re-jailbreak it and if it's still buggy then I know I will have to get an upgrade.

Nothing to do with it being an iPhone 4.. two guys on here have the 4 and it works fine, just try to do it again!

IOS7 actually does run smoothly on iphone 4 with 7.1.1 could easily handle JB too

I would use this instead of Pangu.

I used Pangu and gave me loads of bugs and awful boot times.

Make sure you restore your iPhone in iTunes FIRST, and then when your iPhone is unjaulbroken, re jailbreak using the one I provided. Just back your data up before restoring.

Centurial wrote So I jailbroke my phone a few days ago, and everything went smoothly no issues at all, but it is very buggy, I will go into an app and then go into my home screen and it won't show any of my apps until I hit the multi-task button or do something else. It's very annoying as the home button is used the most. Should I re-jailbreak it or is there a way to fix this without having to re-jailbreak?

1st re-jailbreak and if the issue it still their try:

-Make sure you have no tweaks in cydia that could be causing the issue
-Try adding this repo cydia.iphonecake.com and install afc2add for ios7.1x and AppSync for IOS 7.0+ (This helps app run as it removes the need to check for signed code)

-Finally if it still inst try a clean restore as in remove everything off it and restore it as new then jailbreak if the issue is still there after this your phone simply cant handle it.
