everytime i get on mw2 and do the TU update it just keeps redoing and doing and doing it over and over again anyone know why?

Try clearing your cache by pressing y on all hard drive devices.
If that doesn't work, then you mw2 copy is bad. Did you mess with the files or install a menu? If so delete mw2 and install a new copy.

Make sure you have the TU8 file in your cache folder on XeX Menu.

And as Hub said, it might be corrupted files in your directory, so delete MW2 completely and re copy it (via Freestyle Dash)

And are you downloading the TU from Freestyle Dash?

just use horizon inject the tu8 file on the hdd and add all tu8 files such as the xex in the game folder and start up the default_mp.xex and boom your out of the loop
