I will dump the nand with the matrix nand programmer but can some one show me a diagram with the solder points on a falcon xbox. Would I need the matrix glitcher or would the coolrunner rev c work. LASTLY would jrunner work for the matrix nand programmer the same way it does for the nand x

If you go to the matrix home page they have diagrams for the the Matrix glitcher v2. I recommend that, because you don't need anything else to program it. Just flip some switches on the board.

I saw a pdf of someone using the matrix glitcher and matrix nand but they seemed to have to do a lot of stuff in cmd which I didn't understand how to do could you link me to a tutorial?

The thing they were doing in the command prompt waas flashing the Nand. That's just have some work and its straight forward. You can use any Nand flashing program that it is compatible with (NANDPRO 2.0e and most third party software). Some are cmd some have a GUI (Graphical user interface). Send me the pdf you have and i can take a look at it for you and try to break it down.

You should be able to use Jrunner. If it makes you feel safer get a Nand-x with the QSB for phat. They are easier to use. Also it works with the Matrix glitcher v2

The nand x is discontinued and I was going to get the matrix nand as an alternative otherwise I would of got a nand x v3 cut the wires and solder directly and then use a coolrunner rev c

Realistically the nand reader doesn't matter. They all do the same thing. I'm just recommending the Matrix glitcher because you don't have to program it, which requires you to buy more things.

Do you know a good tutorial on the installing of the matrix glitcher ?
