Now, this is a video I had seen on Facebook a little while, and it's really stuck me, I couldn't stop thinking about how Social Media sites... Aren't really social. How people rather be on their phones then talking to one another, socializing, communicating, making friends, just talk... Everyone rather send a text message then seeing the person, rather call them then making it out to see them. Having 564 friends on facebook, and still feel lonely.
People don't really look up and realize, what is going on outside the cell signal. Being in a car with friends and it being completely quite because everyone is on Facebook looking at their "Friends". Give a look, a conversation, a hug.. Not a like.

I understand that this generation is technology based, and therefore more into technology.
However, my friends and I still go out together and have fun in person, my girlfriend and I hang out all the time, and I still do other things like hang out with my family even though I am interested in technology and use it on a daily basis. I just don't over do it like some people do.

I'd rather be out and doing something with my buddies, than sitting inside.

Thank you very much for this post, as it has made me think deeply about how messed up technology is, and how its stopping, family, friends, partners and the community from taking there eyes of there phone.

That's the big problem with the internet and social networking. People can connect so easily, yet they're not really connection. It works for me because I have social anxiety and I don't like to go out and meet people. Though, it's probably a lot better meeting people in real life than online.
I agree though, the internet is taking social lives out of the equation.

Hmm I smell irony. I watched this video, from my computer, which therefore wasted my time from being in the real world. BRILLIANT, +1 to you my good sir. I guess communication has changed. Is typing to someone that types back not communicating and being "Social". This seems like propaganda to me. DIRTY PROPAGANDA.
