I cant seem to find a good screen capturing software that either doesnt drop my frames or doesnt give me a work load of issues... I am willing to pay up to around 60 bucks for a screen recording software on PC (obviously) that wont drop my frames and wont be insanely confusing to use along with allowing me to upload to youtube.

Ive used
-Bandicam
-OBS
-Dxtory

All three are crap, bandicam was just mediocre and wasn't worth paying for .
OBS has terrible quality for me, records video at like 480p
Dxtory, no matter what I do it says itll take around 1400 min to upload to youtube and Im not paying for something that is going to take that long to upload.

Can someone help me with a good software? for +rep

Dxtory and OBS are for live broadcasting... Camtasia Recorder is a great screen recorder, so is Fraps.

Excuse me. OBS is one of the best out there. You do know how to edit settings right. Most people use OBS or Xsplit. You can record 1080p with OBS. And you are dropping frames because your internet isnt good (Dropping frames only applies to streaming).

That is false aswell because you can just record rather than stream with OBS. It allows for real time watermarks, edits, and breaks. Nice software overall.

You're excused, and yes I have tweaked with the settings and its still makes my game lag when I am recording and no my internet is not bad.

Fraps is overrated turd.
Sorry but all it does is eat up disk space.

Its pretty bad how it doesn't compress a recorded video.
Even for the rip-off price it is.

Other than that OBS is great as long as your computer and internet can handle it.

All recorders make your game lag. You will want an external recorder if you wish to record PC games. Of course you are going to lose frames when the CPU and GPU have to work twice as hard to capture the game and play at the same time.

That bad boy plugs into a PCI slot and does the recording. Limiting strain on both the CPU and GPU.

I use Dxtory all the time to upload to youtube in 1080P and it takes about 30 mins to upload a 1hr video

What codec are you using to record. The codec shown below is the best for gaming

Dxtory is personally my favourite to use. I cant remember what codec i use though but its something lossless i think. I add all my intro and stuff in with premiere pro. and then just compress with handbrake.
