Try this. It worked for me.
1. Go to the 'Start' orb.
2. Type in the search area.
3. Search "Windows Update".
4. Go to optional updates, and find your graphics card.
5. Click the box next to your graphics card. This will make a check mark.
6. Exit the optional updates.
7. Then click update. This will take awhile, so be patient.
8. Once updates are done, agree to restart your computer.
9. Minecraft will work.
10. If not, right-click the Minecraft Icon.
11. Go to "Properties"
12. Once there, click the "Compatibility" tab.
13. Check "Run this program in compatibility mode".
14. Then choose from the list, make sure to click "Windows XP (Service Pack 3)".
15. It should be working. No more OpenGL error.

It depends on what your schools security is like. Some block it, some don't

i think our security is quite strict, students cant even access volume control on the computers

ha, that must suck, i used to change the firewall settings in my school so i could play on blocked websites but then i got a refferal so i wouldnt recommend doing this.

This is exactly why schools have so much security on the computers because people like to mess around with settings and things that they shouldn't be messing with.

Some computers have enough RAM, and updates to handle the game. Others don't. If you aren't supposed to be playing or updating things, don't. You risk getting in trouble yourself by doing this.

Do you watch paint dry for fun? You sound like a horribly boring person. Not going to make many friends with that attitude.

I wouldnt try it because you can get suspended.

You have absolutely no chance of running Mine craft through a school computer, most only run programs through a network, specifically to stop people like you. Why would you spend your free school time on games anyway get some study in or kick back with some mates instead.
