I Lost my bank card a few days ago and am currently waiting on a new one arriving i was wondering if there are any websites that i can give my sort code/account number and use as a virtual bank card to purchase something?
Help would be greatly appreciated!

When you say "sort code/account number" are you talking about the number on the card that you lost? If so, probably not since your old card will probably be cancelled.

If you informed the bank that you lost your card (which you should have done considering you are getting a new one) the. That card would be cancelled, therefore it can not be used.
You will have to wait for your new card to arrive and use the details for that.

Assuming that you are talking about your new card,you have to wait to activate it to use it.

my Current account is open, i have informed my bank that the card was lost (which is why a new one is coming) but i need to pay for my little brothers birthday present! By sort code/Account number i mean the account details which would mean you could take money out

The Bank Card you lost should be cancelled if you've informed the bank. So you're unable to use that account number and sort code.

The new card you're waiting on you won't be able to get the details for that until it comes, so unfortunately you're going to have to find another way to fund your brother birthday presents

With a sort code and account number I believe you can only send money into the account/card, not out.

If you have all the new cards info (card number, security code ect.) You can use it inline. I used my replacement AMEX online before it ever got in my hands.

I would just wait until u get the new card and don't try to use ur lost one it would be cancelled also they might watch it for scammers or credit card fraud so I wouldn't try to buy with it

You can always link your bank account through PayPal and purchase items through there. You don't need a card. Just put in your account and routing number and it will come straight from your bank account, card or not.
