Here is some interesting news that I just found out, there was over 100 aid researchers on the plane that were ready to go to a conference.
Also two very big people in the Aids research industry were in there including one readers her who was once the president of the Aids International Research.

This is a huge setback in aids research which puts us farther behind in finding a cure.
I believe some company or government did not want them to get any closer to a cure.

I personally don't think so, but what I've been trying to figure out since the news came out is; Why were they flying over a war zone? I'm sure they knew about what was going on in the Ukraine, so why would they fly over it?

They chose the most direct and economic flight route possible, which keeps their fuel costs down. This makes sense since all airlines want to save money.

I was meaning to make a topic about this, but hadn't found the time to do so. Well, I had told my dad about this theory of it maybe being shot down on purpose (to put a large setback for the cure). He didn't believe that because Netherlands is the hub for aids research and they were just going to a convention in Australia. But, I've heard that the Ukrainian Government had told commercial airlines to not fly over their airspace for circumstances like this.

Apparently a few Flight Attendants & Pilots raised concern over this a few weeks before the flight, why the Airline didn't listen is what confuses me.

No doubt it was cheaper to take that route.

I know especially since they were going to the AIDS convention.

I feel it was planned, Firstly at the beginning of the year a Malaysia plane goes MISSING?! how, with all the radar systems that we have today they don't even have a last location, i call Bullsh*t. Now a plane with some very imporant aid researches going to a conference get shot down? There is a cure for aids already, think about it. Those with aids currently and been living for 20+ years after finding out they have the disease, they are very wealthy.
