ok Guys my sister let me use her xbox for like 2 weeks and for what ever reason it gets console banned I have not cheated or nothing on it and so like any other good brother would do I was going to buy her a new one but she has a slim with 250 GB hard drive and she wants me to buy her a hole new xbox with a 250 GB hard drive but I told her you can just move the old hard drive into the new one and she refuses that. I was only going to buy her a new slim xbox not with a herd drive and she saying I cant get her old one when I replace her old one with a new one is the far because she just going to let it sit in a conner and let collect duct when I can just make it into a RGH xbox and resell it for 200$.
any comment will be nice thanks

Well, it's her Xbox, she can kind of do whatever she wants with it, just because you broke it doesn't mean it's yours to do anything with now.

I mean its her Xbox.
If she wants to let it sit in the corner and collect dust then so be it.
Let it sit there.

But by replacing the HD you screw up the warranty.

Not really, you caused someone else's Xbox to become useless, so the least you could do is buy them a new one.

What is the warranty period for Xbox 360 consoles and accessories?
The warranties are:
Xbox 360 console: One year
Original Xbox 360 console with three flashing red lights or error E74: Three years from the console purchase date (not applicable to the Xbox 360 E console or Xbox 360 S console)
Kinect sensor: One year
Accessories: One year
Idk dont ask me, but people get caught. Calm yourself

first off microsoft offers a warranty with any new purchased system tied to your microsoft account. and they have security stickers everywhere and hide things you need to open it i.e controllers for the 360 a screw was underneath a sticker. so to open it the sticker needed removed or broke. the original 360 had a sticker along the seam that needed broken to be opened

You do not void a warranty for replacing a HD, it only becomes void if you modify or open the machine to fix it yourself. Hard drives on the 360 are replaceable for a reason. With the original 360, 360s and newer 360, all are able to access the HDD very easily.
Just buy her a new Xbox 360. If the console was banned, it was because you broke some rule and it was serious enough to get the console banned.
The HDD bay on the original xbox 360 is located right at the top of the 360 (when you stand it up) and the 360 s has the HDD on the bottom (when you stand it up). They can easily be opened with ease.
