Does the 2008 Lancer gts (automatic) have enough power? I saw some people say there's not enough but others say its fine. Just asking if anyone has the same model year opinons on it.

It's a 4 Cylinder car. You won't find enough power if you want performance. Test drive the car out yourself, you'll probably find unlikable acceleration.

You should check out a Subaru Sti 04-07 SEDAN preferably, they come equipped with a boxer engine and these cars are all about their performance.

I saw reviews saying the automatic doesn't have enough but the manual does.

It really doesnt matter whether its manual or automatic to be honest. Its a 4 cylinder. Either way you go, youre not gonna find a whole lot of power anyways.

The power doesn't change between the automatic and manual. Just the automatic one won't shit as fast they usually feel more sluggish then a manual car. It has enough power to get to point a to b

You can get it in automatic but if you have the CVT transmission it will feel very slow. Personally, I dont think it has enough power for the price, and in comparison to other cars in its class.

I agree with you on this but at the same time it depends on the car/driver/transmission, some transmissions can shift faster auto than a person could. But at the same time others have slow shift times and good drivers when it's manual, it al just depends on the car.

Do not go for a normal Lancer, if you don't have enough for the Lancer Evolution(Evo) then go with something else quick in your price range.
