One lesson i learned last generation is never sell/trade a console to get the other because eventually you'll have some form of regret biting at your mind. I Would just save up/work for your ps4, that way you'll still have your xbox, then you'll have both.

I've been with Xbox for almost twelve years now, and PS for ten. When the last generation came out I didn't bother with getting a PS3 and have owned over five Xbox360's. Yesterday, after literally a few months of decision making I made the move to purchase a PS4 over the XB1, mainly due to the fact that I know around twenty people with PS4's whereas I know no one with an XB1. I feel it's fair to say Microsoft failed miserably, and I doubt they will pick up within this current generation from what I have gathered so far, it's a shame because I was genuinely excited for the XB1, despite recent efforts to bump the player-base up to compete with Sony the XB1 still lacks a general player-base, which can be shown by a recent article stating that the XB1 fell short of sales behind the PS4 with its price-changes this could be due to the exact reason as to why I chose Sony which is because all my next-gen friends own a PS4. Note that I am not saying XB1 doesn't have a player-base, it lacks the general population which is undoubtedly shown in sales statistics.
