Complaining about what other people thing about your lift? lol
You're supposed to build your truck for yourself. Which is what I am doing with my RAM1500 right now. Chracoal Gray paint, blacked out wheels. Eventually bigger lift, black headlights, tailights, and more performance mods (Tuner, supercharger, heads, intake, new exhaust system) But it will be over time, since mommy and daddy don't still hold my hand.

DeniedPride wrotewaffle wrote It's more fun to buy the truck stock and doing the work yourself. That way you make it exactly how you want it. I would debadge it (Including the side molding i did that on my truck, lift it, throw a set of rims and some all terrain tires, wheel spacers to push the tires out a bit so you get a beefy stance look, and in the gap in the front bumper i'd throw a LED light bar in there, maybe some road armor heavy duty bumpers. Also if that truck has the economy 4 cylinder option get a tune like blackbear. I have it and had looked it up, it's basically useless and doesn't help much. It's also annoying it you put exhaust on your truck because you can hear it in the exhaust when it switches out of modes.
You seem to have a great knowledge about what to do, I may have to get back with you at some point to get a few tips/pointer. Thank you for your input, I greatly appreciate it.
No problem man, I have an 08 silverado I'm working on now but need a little more in my truck fund.

Say what you want, but I think a Dodge is the way too go. The Dodge Cummins would be great. I had a 2006 Chevy Silverado with (last time I drove it) around 190,000 miles. Oh course there different now but I had a lot of trouble with that truck. My Dodge though, other than a oil leak, no problems.

This is my truck. I love it to death!

I do like the picture of the truck you posted though. I think it's a gorgeous truck and definitely will turn heads. But my opinion is don't make your truck a street princess. If you're going to lift your truck and put big mud tires on there, make sure you use it. Otherwise, just level it and put 33's on it. There's a lot you can do to trucks, but I would have to say that my dream set up would be this right here honestly ( [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ) I absolutely LOVE the stromtrooper look!
But the best advice I could give you about getting a truck is to make sure you get what YOU want. If you like it, who cares if anyone else does.

Without a doubt, Silverado. I had a 1990 Chev and it was bulletproof. I regret selling it.
If you get it lifted, personally I wouldn't go too high with the lift as it may be a nuisance as DD after awhile. Also, off-sets help add an aggressive look if that's what you're going for with the lift. Good luck!
