The background looks a bit "throw in". It doesn't fit well.
The 3d text needs to go. I think you'd be better off with 2d text as opposed to some .c4d text.
You should change up the colors, maybe make the background more opaque and have brighter text to make it stand out a bit. For a beginning, it's not horrible.

I agree with changing colors, but only of text. The carbon fiber background, if used correctly, could look very nice. Just change the text color and make it 2D and add some shading to it. Decent work though.

better. Add some shading to the text to make it not so bland. Sort of like a shine

i reccomend using 2d text.
as opposed to a 3d lightroom i think that 2d text with a light grunge effect would suit.
not to be harsh, nobody uses drop shadow anymore, dark backgrounds and bright unfurnished colours do not mix. and carbon fibre backgrounds need to be blended on a black backdrop to enhance the text.
sorry for the harsh seeming words, i am a designer just telling the truth.
try to use the adobe colour suggestion pad for better results (;
