Just a question I have been asking myself, it doesn't seem like the old mw2 days where a lot of people were modding and stuff like that. Seems like very few people own rgh or jtags and host lobbies. What do you guys think?

Lots of people still have RGH's. Like you said, it is getting less common since MW2 because there is more security, as time goes on.

BO1 had anticheats
MW3 Stealth didn't exist
BO2 Ban Bypasses were needed
Ghosts has anticheat and a ban bypass.

Yeah and as time went on its been costing more and more to care for your rgh and jtag like paying for Kv's and stealth. Seems like people were raking in money for hosting lobbies. I've been thinking about getting an rgh but not sure bc seems like people don't really care for lobbies anymore and I wouldn't make any money from getting one.

Actually, it is the opposite. It is getting cheaper to RGH and KV's were like $90+ and now they're $15-20. People still do enjoy lobbies, and it still is possible to mod up to BO2, however you shouldn't buy a RGH for money, since you won't break even with it, but you should buy it for the experience and fun.

True, but it would be nice to just make some spare chance. But is it still worth getting an rgh? This question that I posted is holding me back from getting one, less people seem to be interested anymore in lobbies and stuff like that.

A lot of people are still interested in it. Only problem really is Ghosts, since it is impossible. Otherwise it is still pretty active.

You should only really buy one if you want the fun and experience, not the money. You won't be making money, you'll be losing money.

You could expect around $10-15 a day for Stealth or use the free offline files.
On top of that, another $15-20 for a Keyvault each time you get banned.
The only thing people will pay for is Azza which will bring you about $2 a lobby, and recoveries which are not allowed here, and will earn about $5 for MW3 and maybe $15 for BO2.

im sorry i just disagree with everything you said above. It is possible to to make a profit just matters what you host.

BO1 is pretty easy now.
Mw3 Is pretty easy
Mw2 Easiest
Bo2 just need a bypass
Ghosts idk but some people have tools not that hartde.
GTA5 Money nd rp mods still work. as of 7/25/2014
People still pay for lobbies.

Ive been modding for 2-3 years now and. Ive made profit. Just takes time. You wont make money on ttg so its good to branch out a little. but is fun and you do learn a lot of stuff from it.

I wasn't talking about the present. I know that it is easier now. I was explaining how it starting to wind down in the past.

How do you ask people for money since you can't on here? Do you own a website? And I will be getting stealth with A BO2 bypass. But I am just wondering how you make money since you can't advertise lobbies for money on here.

Host free lobbies, get community reputation, and get trust of people, then people will come to you and ask. I've had people ask if they could have a recovery. I never advertised.
