So this right here is why I believe the United States is to lenient when it comes to criminals (Also this supports my stance on using the "Choke" Hold method as restraint, Which is legal I believe there and It is legal where I live as well). But in a situation like this the cops shouldn't even have to arrest him, Hes carrying a gun, shooting at innocent civilians and stealing their vehicles. The cops should have the ability to shoot on sight in this scenario, Screw negotiating he's endangering innocent lives. I personally carry a gun any time I go driving. I never leave the house without one (except when there's a situation that I can not have one with me, BTW its legal where i live to carry without a permit(as long as it isn't a handgun/ That requires a special permit)But anyway if this ever happened it should be 100% legal to shoot him on sight (Not legal in the state there in but once again legal in my state). The cops shouldn't of even gave him a chance after he shot at a group of people and then went into a house and stole a couples vehicle. But I won't get to carried away as I do realize I am a little on the "Extreme" side when it comes to things like this. So tell me what you think
An apparent carjacking was caught on camera in Colorado, with motorists rushing to help police subdue an armed suspect.
The dramatic helicopter footage appeared to show a man terrorizing Interstate 70 in Jefferson County, Colorado, Wednesday.
Police said the man, along with an alleged female accomplice, carjacked two different people, including Bush Sutters co-worker.
Next thing you know, the guy pulled out a machine gun and started shooting at him, so he dove in the bushes, Sutter said.
After crashing both stolen vehicles, the two apparently headed off on foot to the embankment, according to Jefferson County sheriff spokeswoman Jacki Kelley. The woman was arrested, but the man tried to make a getaway in a dump truck.
The deputy chased the man, grabbing his shirt and tackling him, as can be seen on video. Two other good Samaritans emerged, helping to hold the suspect down, the end of a dramatic scene that somehow was resolved without any injuries.
