People who say consoles are better than a PC more than likely haven't played on one. Consoles can't even compare to a PC.

They may be more convenient for casual gamers but, thats pretty much where the line is drawn.

RSL wrote PC Gaming is better but i prefer console because it much simpler. Buy Game, Put it in and play it.

With PC's its alot more hastle and im really lazy

I know what you mean but I feel that the small amount of waiting is well worth it, Plus once you install it, be it you buy it online or buy a disk, all you have to do is launch from the desktop. No keeping disks and buying new ones if they scratch and you dont have to buy a new PC when the "next gen" games come out. Just a 200$ish upgrade and you are good to go!

So you're telling me that a $500-600 gaming PC seven years ago (around the same time the 360 was released), can run COD: Ghosts today at the same level the 360 can or better with just a $200 upgrade?

Actually it can run COD Ghost better with no upgrades at all, its the same engine as COD 4 had.

Yes, as a matter of fact it would as long as said pc is not a terrible pre built one. Console hardware is outdated even before they're released. The hardware in a 7 year old gaming pc would still be more powerful than a consoles hardware because of this.

Uh, no.

A PC with similar or same specs as an Xbox 360 would NOT be able to play Ghosts, or BO:II, or MW3 etc.

Xbox 360: 512mb of RAM
Ghosts RAM requirements: 6GB
Black Ops 2 RAM requirements: 4GB
Modern Warfare 3 RAM requirements: 3GB

Average amount of RAM in a PC 7 years ago: 2GB (Of course there were higher-end PCs with 4GBs of RAM too. 4GB then is like 16GB now, to put it into perspective)

Not to mention the GPU and CPU requirements. You can't compare old-gen consoles to PCs, they don't even run on the same architecture. Your entire post is biased as all hell. "Consoles are nearly $600!" Really? Last time I checked the most expensive console was $500, and that's the One w/ Kinect. $500 isn't "nearly $600." and nobody is forcing you to pay for the premium version, you can just as easily buy the $400 Kinectless One, or a PS4 for the same price. "Next-gen consoles are obsolete!" Right, well so is your PC, and every other PC elitists rig. Why? You know damn well that it's impossible to have brand new parts in your rig at all times. Everyone's PC or console is obsolete, and saying something like "next-gen is obsolete" makes you seem ignorant. (which you are) No you can't make a $500 PC that will run BF4 at max settings w/ 70FPS, stop kidding yourself. "lol but i got parts on peecee part pickur n it said $500" but do you have an OS? Does that include shipping? How about a monitor or a mouse and keyboard? So what if you can jam a whole bunch of parts into a mobo for $500, individual parts are useless if the whole PC isn't there. 90% of people don't have a monitor lying around, and maybe only a hand full of people have a mouse and keyboard they can use that are from this decade. What about speakers? Do you have a random pair of speakers lying around? Do you have a copy of Windows w/ an unused product key just chillin in a drawer? I know I sure don't, and Windows is $100 alone for an OEM key.

I could go on and on.. and on, about how completely one-sided your thread is, but It's pointless to continue. In the end, an elitist is an elitist, and there's no getting through to people like you now is there? But do me a favour, do your research on things like this before you say things that you believe for fact because you saw it on YouTube or a friend told you it was real.

I can tell you now that my PC was old, about 6 years old and I ran COD 4 and MW2, I have since upgraded. First of all I never had any of that for my PC, paid 600$ for it all so from experience your whole paragraph is invalid. Calling me ignorant when you dont know me or what I have done, I didnt you use part picker, I hand picked every thing in my PC. Research, some poeople are to lazy to do it. I probably no more about PCs then you, you just assume that I know nothing, and I would do the same but I wouldnt insult them on your wild ass assumption. Read my previous comments, I torrented Win 7, and even if they cant do that there a plenty of places to buy cheap Windows 7 keys and etc. You know how I know that??? Experience, I did my "research" but for some odd reason you think I didnt. And for Monitors, you can buy one really cheap, you just have to RESEARCH!!! You dont need 16gb, that video is proof that 8gb is more than plenty. You are refusing to realise that a gaming PC can last for years even longer than consoles and still run games better than a console can. I have owned both and still own both. Of course games will get better graphics and extra, thats how things work, and of course you will have to upgrade to get the max settings. But consoles get less then rock bottom every year, PCs dont. They slowly degrade and by the time its time to upgrade to "next gen" consoles its time to upgrade your computer. "No you can't make a $500 PC that will run BF4 at max settings w/ 70FPS, stop kidding yourself." Watch the video, he shows it to prove it to people like you. You say that a PC is gonna cost more, of course it will cost a little more, but if you do like me (This so called ignorant person) and do a little "research" you can find deals. You have called me ignorant many times and all you have done is show your true colors. Ever heard "What you call people is a direct image of yourself"? Take not that I said "Consoles are nearly 600$" Nearly, yes you can go cheaper but you dont get all the fancy stuff that Im sure every one wants. people constantly assume that you have to get the top of the line PC when you dont!! Now Seven years ago I was know where near as familiar with PC as I am now so I assumed now that 4gb ram now is enough. Since CoD looks nearly the same.

And again, Jack Frags is a VERY trustworthy youtuber, and he knows his shit. So your comment "But do me a favour, do your research on things like this before you say things that you believe for fact because you saw it on YouTube or a friend told you it was real." is again invalid.

People just need to understand Consoles are for convenience, PC's will always be the Master race because games are cheaper, graphics are better, the "Exclusives" are better, the community isn't fueled by 13 year old twats. With a pc, I can play league, and while league is loading I can pull up ANOTHER game and play that just for me. We have the advantage of Raidcall, Teamspeak, mumble. We can use keyboards and mice, we can use a controller if we want. I wish more people would understand how much better a pc is. You can't run Chrome, Firefox, and a game all at the same time. You can't have two (or more) monitors. You can't have Photoshop, Sony Vegas, or Wordpad. You can't host a server for counterstrike to play with your friends? I could keep going but I feel like my post is way to long.
TL;DR : PCMASTERRACE
