I understand Ohh it dosen't have an Intel CPU in it, But by using the 8350 you are getting on par performance of that of many i5 and i7s cpus out there. Let me go ahead and tell you for the price of the cpu and its performance, it can out preform many intels out their. Do a little research and you will see what im talking about. Also by switching ti this AMD processor you save enough money to get a 280x which is a beast card, I mean the 270x can Handle BF4 on Ultra at 50-80 Frames. 100 Average on high. But as long as you dont overclock the cpu there is not need for and aftermarket cooler with this build. But trust me this build will play alot alot of games on max settings with ease. Also with the new consoles out developers have realized the potential of having 8 cores, and this is really the main reason the 8350 got so big, But Soon the FX line will be great for gaming as developers begin to utilize the extra cores

Note* That 280x will also get you 3 Free games with the radeon rewards program

For the price of the AMD build, you can get a strong Intel build.

the fact we are almost the exact same price. Now even though I hate intel. This build xigma submitted will provide better preformance when editing rendering and on certain games, mine will also preform better in certain situations. In the end the differnce is preference and in this case $3. Perfect counter build xigma

Im not that big of a fan of the blue team either

I have an overclocked 8320 @ 4.6Ghz and it plays games fine. Videos render quick too. My GPU is letting me down.

But as you said, its preference more than anything with these two builds.
