Apparently Password123 is a very good and strong password. Hmmm this gives me an IDEA NOW!

But still try password123 next time, apparently its a really good combo.

The only way to get into someones account is to either get their password, or if you give them the credentials needed to take over the account such as First/Last name and a bunch of personal information.

Not even hacking. It's only cracking, they do this by using Sentry MBA.

My steam got hacked and that's all they've done, I'm expecting over a week to get my account back thanks to Steams "amazing support" response.
Screw these people why cant they get damned jobs?

ITT: Hackers being annoying and hateful.

Steam is doing their job to clean up your mess.

Most topics made with the fact "hackers got to them" in reality gave the person the account info and then got screwed and then turn right around and blame the people that are helping them because they don't get to get back on their account as fast as they wanted to.

Steam will get your account back, just be patient and learn from this.

True but it is not always the users fault. Methods such as phishing, key-logging are very commonly used and do to the fact that one can easily make viruses invisible to anti-viruses makes it even for difficult for the user know what file is truly safe. For example I knew a guy that used Skype mass spreaders to spread his virus which has hidden as a .png . How would a typical person suspect a virus disguised as a .png or .txt file when you AV does not even pick it up.?

All im trying to say is that alot of the time the user is not aware he or she is being monitored.
