People have there own opinions.

There's no way to prove console is better than PC or PC is better than console it's just everyone's opinions I think.


I have an xbox one I love it but I really want to get into PC gaming as it's pretty cheap like you will spend 60GBP on an xbox game and on PC there are deals where you can get soo much for that amount.

Well i have a 360 and a decent PC that can handle most games but i just have more fun playing on the Xbox 360 especially with my friends.

I don't care about how good the graphics are, the good FPS and how upgradeable the PC is i play games to have fun and i have more fun on the xbox 360 even on BF3 and BF4 i have more fun on console than i do on PC even though the graphics and FPS are better on PC.

Overall I enjoy both but have more fun on the console.


Simple answer: Personal preference

This is always gunna be a war between PC and consoles just like the war between Xbox and PS its pointless it doesn't matter what peoples opinion on a gaming device is if you like PC then play PC if you like Atari play Atari, just because old man joe says the playstation is better than a PC doesn't make it ture nor false. It's all opinion based and you should just learn to ignore it.

With PC's you click "Buy" and download the game then play. You don't even have to leave your chair.

I know what you mean but I feel that the small amount of waiting is well worth it, Plus once you install it, be it you buy it online or buy a disk, all you have to do is launch from the desktop. No keeping disks and buying new ones if they scratch and you dont have to buy a new PC when the "next gen" games come out. Just a 200$ish upgrade and you are good to go!

So you're telling me that a $500-600 gaming PC seven years ago (around the same time the 360 was released), can run COD: Ghosts today at the same level the 360 can or better with just a $200 upgrade?

Actually it can run COD Ghost better with no upgrades at all, its the same engine as COD 4 had.

A PC with similar or same specs as an Xbox 360 would NOT be able to play Ghosts, or BO:II, or MW3 etc.

Xbox 360: 512mb of RAM
Ghosts RAM requirements: 6GB
Black Ops 2 RAM requirements: 4GB
Modern Warfare 3 RAM requirements: 3GB

Average amount of RAM in a PC 7 years ago: 2GB (Of course there were higher-end PCs with 4GBs of RAM too. 4GB then is like 16GB now, to put it into perspective)

Not to mention the GPU and CPU requirements. You can't compare old-gen consoles to PCs, they don't even run on the same architecture. Your entire post is biased as all hell. "Consoles are nearly $600!" Really? Last time I checked the most expensive console was $500, and that's the One w/ Kinect. $500 isn't "nearly $600." and nobody is forcing you to pay for the premium version, you can just as easily buy the $400 Kinectless One, or a PS4 for the same price. "Next-gen consoles are obsolete!" Right, well so is your PC, and every other PC elitists rig. Why? You know damn well that it's impossible to have brand new parts in your rig at all times. Everyone's PC or console is obsolete, and saying something like "next-gen is obsolete" makes you seem ignorant. (which you are) No you can't make a $500 PC that will run BF4 at max settings w/ 70FPS, stop kidding yourself. "lol but i got parts on peecee part pickur n it said $500" but do you have an OS? Does that include shipping? How about a monitor or a mouse and keyboard? So what if you can jam a whole bunch of parts into a mobo for $500, individual parts are useless if the whole PC isn't there. 90% of people don't have a monitor lying around, and maybe only a hand full of people have a mouse and keyboard they can use that are from this decade. What about speakers? Do you have a random pair of speakers lying around? Do you have a copy of Windows w/ an unused product key just chillin in a drawer? I know I sure don't, and Windows is $100 alone for an OEM key.

I could go on and on.. and on, about how completely one-sided your thread is, but It's pointless to continue. Bull-****-Shit. The average RAM in a PC 7 years ago was NOT 2GB. You could run Ghosts just fine on a decent rig from 7 years ago. Xbox only has 512 MB of RAM, so how would it be able to run Ghosts at 6GB?!?!?

Its not all about hardware and graphics but, you get two totally different experiences from them, its like comparing apples to oranges its not possible. Nobody has a party at there house and plays pc, they are on the console. When people want to hop on for a quick game they get on a console because its convenient. "Hey guys, wanna come over play on my one monitor on my pc" or "hey guys, wanna come over and play madden on my new 52' tv" i know what i would choose.

Really, another topic about this. Power isn't everything. For example consoles just work... No random problems, plugin issues for no reason, ect... Also you best not be using a mic in global chat, if you do with the reaction you get you'd think you would have killed a baby. There is no community on PC, before you tell me I haven't tried both I have all the consoles this and last gen and a PC that cost me around 2000 USD. I prefer consoles personally. My graphics standards is CoD4 on the Xbox 360. I also hate to use that god awful keyboard and mouse. If if play on PC I'm using a controller. I do use my PC to play single player games like Fallout and Skyrim, and it looks beautiful. Please stop with your PC master race bullshit. All of the systems have flaws. It just comes down to what you prefer. I bet you'd like the consoles also if you gave them a try. If you could get over not having 4k 80FPS.
