Hey guys my parents bought me another car for my graduation gift, and I want to add a kick-ass system in the trunk. I'm looking at Boss Audio Systems, because my buddies got them, and the subs hit pretty hard. What's the best brand/kind of ssytem? I'm thinking I need these but I'm not sure:


Speakers
Subs
Amp
Capacitor
and a bass generator

What do you guys think?

Your'e not going to need an amplifier in your car to make it bumping.

All you really need is a stereo and the sub. Once you have those, it really cant get much better.

My brother has a sub in his car and listens to some songs with there bass boosted and it sounds great. No need for anything else tbh.

EDIT: It cost him about $5000 cuz he had to buy an equalizer.

Matters on what kind of bump you want, if you want to hear every level of the sound (Highs, mids, lows) You only need a amp if you are running multiple things and a sub and bass generator are the same thing. Are you looking for alot of bass/bump? Or do you want moderate bass. You gotta specify

Depends what kind of car you have. and You will need an Amp in the car if you're going to have a sub. Honestly, anything from the Kicker brand I really like. I own a little eF Hatch and I have two 10 inch subs with an amp and I kept my stock speakers and such and my mirrors shake. PM me on here if you want more of my opinion.

Get some Kenwoods man. Two 12 inch kickers will get you "bumping"

If you post a picture of the car we can start out by deciding what size of sub you can fit with a box into the car. Its important you show us what your working with..
