I don't know why but I feel like I would just stay on top of a roof with plenty of supplies. That way I'd be up high and safe and get a pretty good view of what's going on below me.

The most likely way a zombie apocalypse would be facilitated would be from a evolved strain of rabies.
The rabies virus is roughly 8 adaptations from facilitating an apocalypse as it is known that people/animals will have twitching in the nervous system after death.
As for how I would deal with it ? Arm myself and then stay home, the apocalypse wouldn't last more then a few days, so as long as nobody makes any attempts at heroism it wouldn't cause a huge loss of life, though perhaps it would in third world countries

I would go to a large store such as walmart, costco, sams club, etc. Then I would board all windows and of coarse have bought some weapons and tons of ammunition from the gun stores. Then I would sit back and relax unless I had a zombie come in and start tripping.

One of my buddy's I work with is crazy into guns and has 2 full gun cabinets full of any type of gun you could think of. We go shooting a lot and are pretty skilled. I think me and him would be set when it came down to the zombie apocalypse. We wouldn't be too rusty with the no scope or head shots.

i work in a supermarket with steel shutters on both front and back entrances with no windows on the side of the building, its also in a steel gated complex so for me it would be there as I'm part of management and have keys, years worth of frozen and shelf food and a good months worth of fresh food ( before it goes out of date unless frozen ) , building contains everything a house does even an oven and microwave to make the food and backup generators for after all power is lost, i reckon i would get a decent amount of survival time in there.

Walmart because I could setup surveillance around the whole building and then run over to home depot and grab a whole bunch of necessary items and build a little town
