What CPU would be best suited for a GTX Titan? Will 4770k be good enough and if multitasking should i use a 4930k instead? Also, does an I7 4770k use more power and cooling than a 3770k?

How much power will you be needing. A few years ago i made the mistake of buying a 3930k for gaming (12 cores) Its an overkill just like the 4930k and on the other hand the 3770k outperformed the 3930k in game benchmarks. The 4770k uses 40% less watts than the 3770k and is more efficient performance per watt. The 4770k should take less cooling as it has a lower watt consumption and yes it is really good at multi tasking.

In my opinion go with the 4770k. There is only a $10 difference between it and the 3770k.

First off, what do you plan to use this PC for? Design or gaming? If for designing you are on the right track but if it is for gaming you want to go with what Xigma said.
