I like AMD more than Intel and was wondering if the AMD Athlon X4 760K 3.8GHz Quad-Core
is any good?

It really depends on what you want to do with it. It would have no problem running basics programs, games.Basically the equivalent of the intel i3 4130

Very good for the price. If it's going in a gaming PC, the Pentium G3258 will outperform it considerably in most tasks, especially if overclocked. Both are good options.
