Battlefield 4 on current gen can detect stats from last gen.

Do you think GTAO will do the same? I don't care if heists are current gen only, I bett still have the same rank, money, etc.

Yes,
They announced at E3 that you will be able to transfer stats from last to current gen. So if you have a 360 you can put them on a PS4 as well.
