Here you go,
Sony Vaio System Restore Instructions

1. Click Start on the Windows taskbar, and click Control Panel.

The Control Panel window appears.

2. In the Control Panel window, click Performance and Maintenance.

If Performance and Maintenance is not listed in the Control Panel window, click Switch to Category View on
the left side of the window, and click Performance and Maintenance.
The Performance and Maintenance panel appears.
Using the VAIO Recovery Wizard may require you to restart your computer, even if you cancel and exit the
wizard.

3. Click VAIO Recovery Wizard.

The VAIO Recovery Wizard window appears.

4. In the Welcome window, click Next.
5. Select Proceed with System Recovery, and click Next.
6. Select Windows System Restore, and click Next.
7. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Every time i go to restore, the first restore point is like 3 days before i try restoring it so i barely lose any files when i want it to be wiped

Well some PCs can only be set back if they have a saved date there. If somethings wrong with it I recommend trying to fix it first with [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] if that dosent work to reset to factory setting you need a boot disc that usally comes with your PC or you can reboot windows if you have that disc. If you dont have one ask who ever made the PC if they will send you one, you can also make your own if your good with PCs

What operating system are you currently on?

You can reset your PC on Windows 8/8.1 which will take your PC back to factory settings.

To reset your PC
    1. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, tap Settings, and then tap Change PC settings.
(If you're using a mouse, point to the upper-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer down, click Settings, and then click Change PC settings.)

    2. Tap or click Update and recovery, and then tap or click Recovery.

    3. Under Remove everything and reinstall Windows, tap or click Get started.

    4. Follow the instructions on the screen.

Note
You'll be asked to choose whether you want to erase data quickly or thoroughly. If you choose to erase data quickly, some data might be recoverable using special software. If you choose to erase data thoroughly, this will take longer but it makes recovering data less likely.
