Here in California they make you wait aleast 6 months to take the driving test after you get your permit. I felt like I was ready after the first month but had to wait...

I practiced all last summer. And took the road test when I felt comfortable. Also when I could handle the highway. Just when you feel like your ready go for it man. And it sounds like you're doing good. I would agree that you are practicing enough.

6 months? I had to keep my learners for a year and a day.

In GA it was a year and a day and that was plenty time for me. I never "practiced" though. Just whenever we went places I used to always drive.

Check your state laws.
For California you have to have, I think 20-30 hours. If you're under 18, you need 6 hours of professional training.
You also have to wait 6 months.
If you're asking how do you know when you're ready? You're ready when you feel safe and good at driving
