Hello everyone. I mostly play ADC with Tristana and I am saving up for Jynx as of now. I have been testing out builds in Intro as a test. Once I find my best setup, I will go play ranked. What do you think is the best so far?

I have seen people use other builds to be OP with any ADC character.
Now, new players may be asking, what is this ADC? Well ADC stands for Attack, Damage, Carry. They are champions who use ranged attacks. The way I have learned while playing ADC, you build AP, or Ability Power.
Why Do You Build AP?
Ability Power is used when you try to make your ADC character hit harder. The higher your AP is, the more damage you will do. But it is also mandatory to buy attack speed items too!

Well. This build is used for AP Tristana. ADCs are meant to build Attack Damage and not Ability Power. Yes, some of Tristana's abilities scale off AP but ADCs are actually known to build Attack Damage, Attack Speed and Crit Chance.
This build for Tristana would be better off for Mid Lane because she's a caster but as an ADC, building Ability Power would be a bit unusual especially in bot lane but if it works for you, it works for you.
Your answer to Why do you build AP? is actually wrong. ADCs are meant to build Attack Damage so their basic attacks will deal a ton of a damage. To sum everything up, your build is really nice, but only for AP Tristana and not other ADCs such as Jinx who cannot benefit at all from building Ability Power and scales only off Attack Damage.

Thank you for your opinion. But one question, if I were to build AD, wouldn't that be meant for melee champions like Garen? And I mostly do go Mid Lane with Tristana. This build has proven me good because I mostly tank everything I get.

No. This is what I used to think but you're absolutely wrong. There are only two types of champions in League in terms of what their abilities scale off: Attack Damage Champions and Ability Power Champions. Most Top Laners do build Attack Damage but some are intended to build Ability Power. For example, Garen or Riven would build Attack Damage and someone like Teemo or Singed would build Ability Power.
You can easily find out what to build on specific champions by the reading the description of their abilities which should say something like: deals 150(+23) attack damage / magic damage / true damage. The 150 shows the base damage of that ability and the bracket number shows how much you're adding to that via items. So if an ability dealt 200 magic damage and I wanted it to be higher - I would build something like Deathfire Grasp or Rabadon's Deathcap which would make the stats of that ability look like: 200(+120) magic damage. Hopefully that's clear to you.
And lastly, if you mainly play Tristana in Mid Lane, you shouldn't be referring to her as an ADC because she isn't in bot lane is she? Calling ADC means you will be laning at bot with a Support who helps you carry, hence the phrase Attack Damage Carry.
You sound new to the game, so if you're on the EUW server - I wouldn't mind helping you get started. Just PM me.
