Reset your router if you've been hit offline mate.

You can always report the person who did it to Xbox and they usually get banned. I'm a trickshotter myself (no abuse please <3) and I know people who have had their Xbox account banned for doing it because it's illegal.

Unfortunately, the Police won't care because it's too small a crime on too big of a scale to be able to give any real punishment.

I used a VPN in the past and it worked for me, people couldn't get my IP or boot me offline. They will only usually not work when a good hacker actually wants to do damage to you but stupid kids on Xbox with cheap booters won't be able to do anything. But the annoying notifications made me uninstall it -.- I'm sure you could find a good cheap one though and stop people booting you.

People who boot people offline (especially to win a game) will absolutely never have any real skill at the game. Unless say they play legit for once..
Now i've been booted offline by trickshotters before, just means they are bad and can't hit a shot on someone who is trying to kill them back. Just angry 12 year olds who's parents don't know what they are doing on the internet.

I always use a VPN just for that reason. Although DDoSing doesn't do much to a single user it's annoying to be hit offline and they find it actually skillful to do when it's so easy to do.

I could literally tell my Mum how to do it and she would understand.

Wish i can say i don't do this, but i do.
Quite often with trickshotters, i don't want to sit there and watch people attempt to hit a shot.
I do it with a logical reason though

I hate every single trick shotter I've ever come into contact with.

you can report it since Network Manipulation, which is grounds for a profile/console ban.

I got booted offline literally half an hour ago because of some sad person on mw2.
